this piece made me want to be an artisti saw it on the first day of sculpture I
and i knew that being an artist
is what i wanted to do
the day before
i was a history major
there is nothing too exciting about history
it never changes
unless of course
you are from texas
then you can rewrite it
but
i wasnt going to do that
besides
the art school girls
looked better than the history school girls
and the art school boys
all smoked and drank
busch in a can
i just so happened
at that time
to smoke and drink busch in a can as well
now look at me
i have moved on to PBR
but
everything i do in the studio
paintings
digital video
performance
anything
is all because of this piece

I wish I remembered the piece of artwork that changed everything for me. I guess I always knew that I was an artist but it took me a really long time to find my voice.
